My name is Val Sivilli. As a professor of Fine Arts, and as a business owner, I print my t-shirt designs as Civilian and I’ve taught hundreds of art students how to take command of many art and printmaking processes. PRINTING REPEATING PATTERNS on a PILLOW CASE!
Using the Pattern Repeat model for fabric design. We create images using hand cut stencils. We explore fabric inks, color, some design, and both fabric and paper printing. Pattern Repeats are a fun challenge to design well.

In this course, you will learn how to go from idea, to a full edition in a single day in the studio.

In this second part of INTRO TO SCREENPRINTING, Fluid/Filler Part 2, the focus is on drawing directly from life with the blue drawing fluid onto the screen. This give a sense of immediacy, and challenges. Instead of working on a T-shirt, we will be working on paper.
